HYBEEN THOMAS
Hybeen Thomas, Palamkunnel House, Nediyasala, Thodupuzha is a Civil Engineering graduate from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering, Kothamangalam in 1992, began his professional journey as a project engineer at Sterling Resort, where he worked for three years. In 1996, he ventured into entrepreneurship by founding his own construction company, Formation House, later rebranded as Swamy & Thomas in 2020. Despite numerous challenges, Hybeen skillfully led the company through turbulent times, and today, he continues to successfully manage it as the Managing Director. The company is well-known for its significant construction projects, including IT parks for Zoho Corporation across Tamil Nadu.
In 2012, Hybeen expanded into the hospitality industry by establishing G-Way Farms and Resorts. His first venture, SpiceTree Munnar, quickly became a renowned luxury destination in Munnar, Kerala. Following this success, he launched SpiceTree Rajakumari in 2018, offering serene, timeless experiences, and SpiceTree Chinnar, an eco-farm resort focused on sustainable living. His latest project, SpiceTree Bali, is currently under development, marking the brand’s international expansion.
Beyond hospitality, Hybeen is also the Managing Director of Abel’s Garden, a retirement living community inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Ikigai, focusing on purposeful and fulfilling living. Further diversifying his business interests, he founded SpiceTree Naturals, a venture currently in the development phase that focuses on organic spices, nutraceuticals, and essential oils. Today, Hybeen dedicates much of his time to afforestation projects and the development of farms designed as peaceful retreats for relaxation and rejuvenation.
